Historical written documents in the US such as the Declaration of Independence in addition to Canada’s Charter of Freedoms and Bill of Rights assert, in more or less terms, that their whole nation’s foundation is grounded on principles that recognize the supremacy of God.
Therefore if supreme law is recognized here, subsequently every court needs to identify with historic decisions that are displayed before them that tie into this legacy and let those past decisions guide them in generating their own.
